Master PW: forgot on mac, but can still login with touch id on iphone

I forgot my master PW on mac. Over the iphone (using touch ID) i can still login. But i cannot change the master pw there either.
Please assist me. Thank you!

    Hi @miriamk,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    As you still have access to your data using Touch ID we should be able to help. What you can do is:

    1. Follow this guide to migrate your data to a 1Password.com trial account:

    Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account

    1. Once you have verified that all of your data is in the trial account you can use the 1Password > Settings > Advanced > Erase All 1Password data option to remove your old vault that you do not have the Master Password for (this does not remove data from 1Password.com).

    From here you have two options. You can continue to use the 1Password membership account (requires a subscription) or you can migrate your data back into a standalone vault.

    To continue with a membership (read the benefits here: What are the benefits of a 1Password membership? ) you'd simply sign back into your trial account at this point. To go back to a standalone vault you would select the option to create a standalone vault from the setup screen, sign into your 1Password account from 1Password > Settings > 1Password Accounts. From there you'd migrate your data back from the 1Password account vault to the standalone vault:
