Brand New User and Saving Passwords on Browser doesn't work

I'm running Mac Sierra 10.12.6. Used 1Password for the first time on Firefox only to get a hideous ad malware that Apple helped me get rid of. I've followed the You Tube directions for using it (on Chrome this time) and I don't get the 1password window to come up at all? Tried it on two different sites - Amazon and my bank. I'm ready to bail on this if it gets any more frustrating!!!!!!!

    @hollybaumgartner: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! Unfortunately without some basic information it's hard to say what might be going wrong and how we might right it! Please tell me the OS, 1Password, browser, and extension versions you're using, the exact steps you're taking, and what is (or is not) happening the way you expect so we can figure out the best plan of action:

    Find your version

    The more information you can give, the better. For instance, are you having this issue only with certain sites? An example website URL would allow us to test on our end as well. Thanks in advance! :)
