Risks of updating older version
I have a 1Password installed on my iPhone 7. I purchased it when I still had an iPhone 4. Now it no longer works. I can look up only one password before the application shuts down. I can't look up any passwords under logins that are protected with a master password. I understand I need to upgrade to a new version which is a free upgrade but requires monthly subscription for the pro version. I'm not interested in any application that requires a monthly subscription fee. I need to know if the free upgrade includes all the features that my current version of 1password includes. I have about 300 password stored and don't want to lose them. I can't tell you exactly which version of 1Password I have because in the iTunes store it tells me I have 3.7.2 and when I open the actual application it says 3.4.

1Password 6 does not require a subscription. You can buy the Pro Features for the local equivalent of $9.99. 1Password 3 will cease to function when Apple ships iOS 11 this fall.
See https://support.1password.com/upgrade-ios/ for instructions for upgrading from 3 to 6.

Can you please tell me what is included in the pro version that isn't included in the upgrade version?

Certainly. You can find that information here:
Pro features in 1Password for iOS - 1Password Support
I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for all your help. I'm still having a problem trying to import my old info into the new version 6. When I get into iTunes and try to import the back up file I get an error message saying invalid file. Any suggestions?

That happens right after it asks for my master password.

When I go to iTunes > Updates I can't find a purchased tab, and 1 password is not listed. If I plug the phone in and look at the apps on the phone (from within iTunes) 1Password is listed but there is no way I can find to update it. When I look on the phone itself under the App Store > Purchased > Available Updates 1Password is not listed. The version listed in the actual 1Password application (under about) is 3.5.4. But no way to update it that I can find.
I really do appreciate all your help.

Sorry, it is actually the App Store app, not the iTunes app (my mistake).
App Store > Updates, then at the very top of the screen you'll see Purchased:
Do you see that?

Yes, I did look there. 1Password isn't listed, so no update available.

Thanks for the update. You'll need to get 1Password updated to 3.7.2 in order to generate a backup that v6 can work with. I've asked one of my colleagues who specializes in older versions of the iOS app to take a look at this for you. He should be in touch soon.
Sorry for the delay!
