Every time I try to open the app on my iPhone 7 using Touch ID it opens and then closes real quickly
I press on the 1Pw app on iPhone 7 & the Touch ID login displays.
I touch my thumb (which works for every other app on this phone) and the app opens then closes simultaneously.
Cannot get it to stay open.

Hi @thorpey,
Thanks for taking the time to write in. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble.
Do you know your Master Password? For certain? If so I'd recommend hitting 'cancel' on the Touch ID prompt and then unlock 1Password using your Master Password.
Please let us know how that goes.
Thanks.
Ben

Yes, I do know the master password but would like to use Touch ID, its supposed to work isn't it?

Sorry, I thought you meant that as the solution. My bad.
Yes I can log in using master pw.
And if I am very quick I can use the Touch ID and quickly tap just anything in the 1pw screen to keep it open, but gotta be really quick on the draw. Sometimes it just doesn't even open and does not offer the master pw option either.0 -
Interesting. Please try unlocking with Touch ID, allow the crash to happen, and then send us the crash log.
If you are experiencing crashes with 1Password for iOS, first please be sure you are using the latest version:
1Password 6 for iOS - iTunes App Store
If you are, and are still experiencing crashes, please send us the crash logs directly. Here are the steps you'll need to follow:
- Plug your phone into your computer and sync it with iTunes.
- Switch to the Finder, click on the Go menu and choose "Go to Folder..."
- Paste the following into the window that pops up: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/
- Select all the files that begin with 1Password and drag them to Mail in the Dock to create a new mail message.
- Send the email to
support+forum@agilebits.com
Please include this string (including the brackets) in the subject line of your email:
