cannot retrieve passwords from old iphone

Running an old version of 1Password (version 3.7) on an iPhone 5. I just want to get my passwords into the Windows version of 1Password 6. Have tried multiple things:

  • database backup (succeeded in getting the file but says can't use it to import into another version)
  • wifi sync (no place to enter authorization codes/secret keys in current 1Password 6 Windows version)
  • dropbox sync (fails to log me in for syncing - error code is (null))

Nothing seems to allow me to get the .agilekeychain that I would then be able to import in the Windows version. Really don't want to export these manually. Upgrading the iOS and 1Password application is not an option.

Any way to extract that data?

    Hi @fig,

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    1Password 3 for iOS does not have the ability to create a file that can be used on 1Password for Windows. It would be necessary to first upgrade 1Password on iOS, and then you can get your data over to your 1Password account (and thus into 1Password for Windows).
