My iOS 1PW login differs from my Mac Master 1PW login. How do I alter the iOS Password?

I have been a longtime user of 1PW. My master password for my Mac account is different from my iOS account's master password and I'd like to keep them the same. Do they have to be different? **How can I change the iOS password? **Do I have to change it on both the iPhone and the iPad?

The short answer is yes: you'll likely need to change the Master Password on each device. They do not have to be different. You can perform the change in 1Password for iOS under Settings > Security > Change Master Password.

Please note that this does not apply to devices with only 1Password membership accounts, which work entirely differently, and the Master Password for the membership is used to unlock all devices.

Thanks Ben. Password change achieved. I was labouring under the misapprehension that if I clicked on 'Master Password' in iOS, it would change 1PW on the Mac. Thanks for your help.
