⌘/ shortcut now being used as Show Status Bar Command in Safari

I'm running the High Sierra public beta, and it looks like Apple may have introduced a conflicting keyboard shortcut to fill passwords in Safari. ⌘/ now shows/hides the status bar. Anyone else notice this?

  • Hi @amocko ,

Safari always used ⌘/ to view the status bar. However, that's ok. The default shortcut to fill is ⌘\ and not ⌘/.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

Weird. I've used 1Password for years and always used ⌘/, so I wonder when it got changed for me. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks for the help.

Ha! I read the title of this discussion and totally had the same reaction! So easy for me to mixup / and \ too. 1Password always uses ⌘ \ by default, but it's customizable in Preferences > General so you must have set it to that at some point. Cheers! :)

P.S: I've never tried it before so I did, and TextExpander seems to be using ⌘ / on my Mac.
