Why is the Chrome extension not working?

The keyboard shortcut to fill in a login is not working, the extension icon appears faded and greyed out, and the 1Password Mini task app is offering to install the Chrome extension over and over.

1Password Version: 6.8.1
Extension Version: 4.6.10.90
OS Version: 10.12.6
Sync Type: families account

    @kevwil: Make sure that Chrome is fully updated, and then restart your Mac. It sounds like 1Password just isn't able to communicate there, likely due to an issue with Chrome's code signature. Let me know if that helps!
