Stand alone license + joining team membership?

Hi there,

I've had a standalone license since 3.x and have recently received an invite to join a team. Since the standalone version doesn't actually count as an account in the UI, I'm concerned that by adding the team account it might override, merge or conflict in some with the new team membership. I'd like to keep the data completely separate. Could anyone please advise? Thanks!

    Hi @alexweber,

    Accepting a 1Password Teams invitation will not affect your existing data. Your 1Password app will still unlock using the Master Password of the Primary vault. One thing I would recommend, after adding the account to 1Password, is verify that the 1Password > Preferences > All Vaults > Vault for Saving setting is appropriate for your situation (you'll likely want it to be the Primary vault).
