2 ?'s how do i tell what kind of account i have

when look at the license stored in my vault it says up to 5 people does that mean i have a family account (if so suggestion say Family Account: up to 5 users)

secondarily how do i link users together, one family member is on 5.4.1 and one is on 6.8.1 how do i easily upgrade the v5 user?
