No response code from server (ios)
So I have been a paid customer on the mac os app and recently signed up for the 1password online account to keep my vaults in sync. The mac desktop app seems to have been migrated fine to sync with 1password account. however, on my iphone, when i tried to add the 1password account details (scanned the qr code ) and added the master password, i keep getting the 'no response code from server' message.

@pranavdharma: That just means that 1Password cannot connect. I can't tell you why, as it will be something with your device or network connection. But you are running an outdated version of both 1Password and iOS itself, so the first thing to do would be to update both. There have been many improvements with iOS (and Safari) in the nearly two years since 9.1 was released, and it's possible that you're just stuck because of that. Let me know what you find!

@brenty -- I would like not to upgrade my ios -- performance generally goes down the drain. 1password not being able to connect just sounds absurd -- all other apps and chrome work fine in terms of connectivity (I have a technical background, so if it was a network connectivity issue, I would know).

@pranavdharma: I hear you, but for what it's worth, we've received no reports of this on iOS 10, and I haven't found it to be any slower than 9. But at the very least there are another 6 months worth of updates to iOS 9 that you could benefit from — to say nothing of security. Ultimately 1Password doesn't have its own network code; all of this is API calls to the OS. So while I'm happy to look at a diagnostics report if you'll send one over, that's more out of curiosity than anything else I'm afraid. I'd love to know why this is happening to you, but chances are it isn't something that's in our power to fix. Have you tried restarting the device?
