Hi Support,

I want to be able to set up a Team account and share password/vaults with others. But, I don't want them to see the password. Is this possible with 1Password?

Thanks,
Joe

  • Hi @jdpierce21,

Yes. With 1Password Teams Pro you can control permissions of vaults at a very fine grained level. One of the permissions is called "Reveal Password". When you remove this permission, the users won't be able to access the passwords (or any concealed field) within items.

When disabling "Reveal Password", users can still use the 1Password Browser Extension to make use of the login item to sign in to websites, but they won't be able to copy the password to their clipboard.

    Thanks, Rick.

Is there a way for them to be able to login into the site without seeing the password?

  • @jdpierce21 : yes, via the 1Password browser extension. It'll be able to get the password from 1Password on their behalf and fill it into the webpage for them.
