Master password not the same

I use 1password on my Mac and noticed after I changed master password on my computer that the new password doesn't sync to my iphone. I still have to use my old master password to login on my iphone. Is that how it should be?

Mac: Sierra OS 10.12.6
Iphone: iOS 10.3.3

If you're syncing your 1Password data using iCloud then yes, it is normal that the password change may not have synced. We have a blog post about this here:
