op create document fails for documents with less than 16 bytes

$ op create document --vault=xxx --title="Sample" sampledoc.txt

[LOG] 2017/10/13 13:01:48 (ERROR) Post https://centerdevice.1password.com/api/v2/file: net/http: invalid header field value "\x1f" for key Content-Length

This only happens, if the sampledoc.txt is 15 bytes or less.
