Can access through browser but not App

I set up a family account earlier this year and the app. Didn't do anything with it. Decided to re-generate a key and password to be safe, through the browser. Saved all the new info, but shredded the old Emergency kit and password. Now, I can login to the browser with the new info, but cannot get in through the app. Does the app want my old password? How can I get the app to use my new password?

    @tdwiebe: You left the version number out of your post, so it's hard to say for sure. But certainly make sure you install the latest version:

    https://1password.com/downloads/

    It sounds like you have a different vault setup in the app, or haven't updated your account credentials there. Do you currently see all of your data in 1Password.com in your web browser? If so, it's a simple matter to reset the app, which will not affect your data stored on 1Password.com:

    Then all you need to do is setup the app with your current 1Password.com account credentials and you'll be good to go:
