I just updated my iphone 6 to ios 11 now the older app won't open - is there a way to merge?

I have an iPhone 6 and just updated to ios 11 - now my older version of 1Password gets an error reading "1Password" needs to be updated - The developer of this app needs to update it to work with iOS 11. I can't figure out how to merge this with the new version of 1Password. Can someone help me figure out how to get my info from the old app to the newer version?
