Old and new version on same machine
I have a Macbook air late 2010 running OS 10.12.6
I use
1Password 6
Version 6.8.4 (684001)
AgileBits Store
I only have 1 vault (Primary)
I do not sync on the cloud. I prefer to use the apps.
However, I also seem to have 1Password 3.8.21 in the Applications folder
Question 1:
How do I get rid of 1Password 3.8.21 without damaging anything
I also notice the following:
When I run Backup in 1password 6, it goes to Library/Applications/Support/1Password4/backups (note folder is named 1password4, not 1password 6)
I also have a folder Library/applications/Support/1password/backups
Question 2
Which backup folder should it be going to?
Question 3
What should i do with the other backup?

Hi @DavidMB :)
Nice catch with the multiple versions, but it's no big deal to clear out.
Question 1:
How do I get rid of 1Password 3.8.21 without damaging anythingJust move the app to the trash. You're running 1Password 6 just fine, so it's not doing anything.
Question 2:
Which backup folder should it be going to?That 1Password 4 folder is the correct one. Don't worry about the naming, it's just a legacy thing. Everything is working as it should.
Question 3
What should i do with the other backup? It's probably old and unnecessary, but as long as it's not harming anything, you can just leave it. All the data is encrypted so it's not a risk to anything.
Cheers!
