Forum notification emails - unsubscribe

Would it be possible to edit the forum thread notification emails to include an unsubscribe link please?
I really enjoy receiving notifications but when a thread goes slightly off-topic or rattles on as new people join the discussion, it’s sometimes beneficial to be able to opt-out.

We don’t have any direct control over how the forums work (at least... at that level; we’re using an off the shelf product). Unfortunately it doesn’t offer the ability to unsubscribe from specific threads, but you can edit your notification preferences here:

That’s a shame. Id only like to unsubscribe from some but not others. I appreciate your hands are tied though.

Without a better solution, using bookmarks seems the best (only?) workaround for '(un)subscribing' to discussions, like I described here and here.
