The last 2 1Password updates on the 14th (7.0.1) and on the 17th (7.0.2) never showed up in the App Store. In the settings , it says i have 6.x.x. The one in my purchased list says 7.0.2. How do I Update? I'm on a 6s Plus running iOS 10.1.1.

  • Hi @ledsteplin

You'd need to update to iOS 11. 1Password 7 for iOS requires iOS 11. Thanks!

Thanks, Ben! Yeah, I figured that out. 6.9.1 works fine for now. I'll upgrade my iPhone next year, then I'll be on iOS 12.

  • @ledsteplin: The iPhone 6s Plus can run iOS 11, if you'd like. I totally understand taking time for the dust to settle with OS updates, but 1Password 7 has some cool updates and I'd hate for you to miss out. :chuffed:

Thanks, Kate! Yes, I could. But I'm hooked on some magic wallpapers that look super cool on my iPhone. They make the folders and dock black. They don't work well beyond iOS 10.1.1. Also, I have a few 32 bit apps I use that I can't yet find suitable replacements for. Here's an example of how my wallpaper looks.

    Hi @ledsteplin,

That is a pretty cool wallpaper. :)

I completely understand not wanting to lose access to your 32 bit apps, but I will mention that, in addition to new features and new ways of doing things, OS updates can include important security fixes. In particular, iOS 11 includes a fix for the KRACK Wi-Fi bug. We always recommend using the most up-to-date operating system possible, particularly if you can live without the apps that haven't been upgraded to 64 bit yet.
