iPhone X UI problem with home bar and tab strip

On my iPhone X the tab strip at the bottom is displayed too low. The text labels are cut off in the round corner and the home bar is displayed right through them, making them unreadable.

@halt001: Please install the current version of 1Password. You're a bit behind. We've released multiple updates to version 7 that are fully compatible with the new iPhone X display and features. Cheers! :)

I'm not behind, I have no pending updates and I have only downloaded the app yesterday. Maybe you show the wrong version number in the app.

I see in the App Store that you are at version 7.02. The phone shows no updates. I see the version number 6.9.1 in the settings screen.

is there any other place where I can see the version number?

  • @halt001: That's definitely an older version, though I can only guess at why the App Store isn't offering you an update. Apple handles the update process, so our role there is fairly limited. Did you install 1Password fresh on the new iPhone or restore from an iCloud backup? Do you find you are offered updates if you reboot the iPhone? The fix here is definitely to get updated as a big part of 7.0 was ensuring everything was compatible with the iPhone X's unique display.

Rebooting didn't help, I already tried that, but killing the App Store App did. After that I was offered a new version of 1Password. F.y.i, I did install the iPhone-X from an iCloud backup. Thanks for the assistance.

Ah that explains it. Sorry for the trouble there, but I'm glad you were finally able to get the App Store to cooperate. It seems to me it's always a bit more flaky in the month or so following a new release, but it seems to even out in time. Cheers! :)
