iPad version of 1P not syncing pro features with iPhone, even though I’ve purchased pro
So my iPad is saying that I need to purchase the pro version of 1P even though I have. I’ve tried restoring purchases, deleting and redownloading the app from both of my Apple ID’s, resync with my iPhone, yet it still says I need to purchase pro. I could send a screenshot of my iPad blocking the categories that I’ve already got. I’m unable to add a new router username and password due to it being a pro feature even though I’ve already got router logins and various other pro feature categories on my devices. My iPhone, which uses the same Apple ID’s and iCloud data isn’t giving me problems. Under settings > pro features, it states that it’s purchased (which is correct) yet on my iPad it’s still asking me to pay the $10 or £8 depending on my Apple ID.

@Shaba: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! Pro features do not "sync". If you purchased them, they are tied to your Apple ID. So the only way the App Store will validate the purchase is if you install 1Password using that same Apple ID and also restore the purchase using that same Apple ID. You cannot transfer purchases between Apple IDs. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions!

@brenty I do realize that the pro feature doesn’t offer sync, what I meant by resync to my iPhone was a redownload of the app, then sync it from my iCloud account which is also linked to my iPhone. As I stated in my earlier post I redowloaded and tried to restore the purchase on both of my Apple ID’s to no avail. Anything else I can try? Quite sick of not being able to use 1P properly on my iPad yet if I were to log in on my phone then all is working.

@Shaba: Ah, thanks for clarifying. But again, syncing via iCloud won't make any difference. You literally have to be signed into the App Store with the exact Apple ID you used to purchase it, or the App Store will not validate the purchase. As I mentioned before, you need to do this both when installing the app and when restoring the purchase. As far as I know, that's the only solution. If there is any other way to do it, only Apple will know.

@brenty again, I have already done that. This is the third time stating this. I signed into iTunes using account A, downloaded 1P and then tried to restore purchases; nothing. I sign into account B, delete and download 1P and then try to restore purchases; nothing. I don’t understand how my iPhone, which is on iTunes account A, doesn’t have a problem, yet my iPad which is also on account A most of the time has the problem.

@Shaba: This process is largely handled by the App Store since it's what's verifying your purchase, not us, so there's a limit to our involvement here beyond providing the UI to restore the purchase. It is possible that switching between regions, as it appears you do based upon the differing currencies in your initial report, might be causing a problem we've not seen before. If you sign in to iTunes with the purchasing account (account A, per your report), reboot the iPad, then install 1Password, do you see different behavior? Thanks. :chuffed:

@Shaba: Until your most recent message, you didn't explicitly mention anything about installing the app, that's why I suggested installing it using the correct Apple ID. Ultimately, we can only offer suggestions based on our own experiences. We don't have any control over or special insight into the App Store (like you, we're just users), so you may need to contact Apple for assistance if you believe that you are using the correct Apple ID and it isn't working.

We have to bear in mind that this is a public support forum, so we can't assume that you or anyone else has that same context. I honestly don't know what the sentence "deleting and redownloading the app from both of my Apple ID’s, resync with my iPhone" means. It sounds like you're downloading it somewhere other than the device you're trying to use it on. Anyway, I'd rather not guess, and prefer to just be explicit about what is required. Certainly if you've been doing that all along and it still isn't working though, we're at an impasse and only Apple can possibly help. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
