two factor authentication gmail : app vs website

I am using two factor authentication (1Password) for my gmail account. Which is better to use: the gmail app or should I access gmail via the website. I am using an iPad.

    I think the mail app is just fine.

  • @dwoolybull: Like prime mentioned, the Mail app will serve fine and I use it myself on my iPad with 2FA handled by 1Password. I also use the Gmail app on my Android and the website on any number of devices. Google has this sign-in process pretty pinned down where you can use 2FA regardless of where or how you access Gmail. It's just a matter of personal preference. :chuffed:
