FaceID Unlock Animation is Too Long
I just gotta say, I love 1Password! It makes using computers so much more humane. I even got my mother on it (she's really bad with passwords). I chose 1Password because you guys charge users actual money. I prefer being the customer instead of the product.
You guys are awesome, and this is a nitpick if anything...
The unlocking animation using FaceID on iPhone X feels really long. Every time I unlock the phone, it feels fast, but unlocking your app feels slow. Here's an example using Privacy.com for comparison: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f66gcpeqb49vnl0/FaceID-UnlockSpeed.mp4?dl=0
Between Apple's indulgent FaceID animation and your "vault opening" animation, it's around 4 seconds to unlock 1Password. For comparison, Privacy.com unlocks in about 2 seconds.
If you guys are doing some super-special security stuff that takes longer, that totally makes sense, but your animation makes me feel impatient every time I have to multitask with 1Password.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m glad to hear you’re finding value in 1Password.
Your last paragraph hit the nail on the head, except it isn’t super secret. ;) During the animation 1Password is decrypting the information it needs in order to show you your item list (“overview” information).
