filling & saving passwords in iOS
It's so easy on Mac OS -- go to a site, 1Password fills the password; if it's new of changed, 1Password saves it.But on the iPhone, I have to go to the app, find the password and copy it, go back to the sign in page and paste it. There must be an easier way, so what is it?

Indeed there is. :) You can read about it here:
Use the 1Password extension to fill in Safari and apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
I hope that helps!

(iOS 11) It would be very helpful to add a “search” field to be able to locate your password if 1Password doesn’t recognize the login page. Unfortunately if the login page doesn’t match, or you didn’t add the url when you set up the item, you have to open up 1Password separately and copy/paste.

@jidrobbins: We don't have plans to do that. The 1Password extension is intentionally offering only logins matching the current URL. Especially on mobile devices, where it's pretty much impossible to inspect the page and certificates in detail, this is an important phishing protection. You can always add multiple URLs to a login if you want to use it at different sites.
