1Password on new iPhone X not working properly

I just setup my new iPhone X and 1Password is misbehaving.

If I open the 1Password extension in Safari and unlock, everything appears to be functioning fine.

If I open 1Password app and unlock, it says that it is no longer authorized to sync with Dropbox. If I hit authorize, the same prompt comes back up in a few seconds. If I hit dismiss, I just get a blank white screen with nothing else (no options, no existing data, etc).

The very first time I opened it on the iPhone X, I did get a splash screen about iPhone X features of 1Password but then (again) empty white screen.

1Password is still working fine (including Dropbox sync) on Windows PC and iPad (running iOS 9.3.6).

Any help/suggestions?

1Password Version: latest
Extension Version: latest
OS Version: iOS 11.1.2
Sync Type: Dropbox

No idea what changed on mine. I just waited a bit and then decided to try force-closing 1Password again and re-opening. This time it worked (though I did have to disable and resetup Dropbox syncing).

I restarted my phone and it's fine now too. Weird.

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the trouble. It sounds like you had a few problems from restoring data from another device onto a new one. For example, your Dropbox authorization won't be valid for the new phone, which is why you're getting that error. But I'm glad it's working for you now.

In case it helps anyone else, it should be necessary to re-authenticate with Dropbox on a new device. Obviously you shouldn't be getting a white screen when you try to do that though. Typically we see that when the Dropbox app is installed and something is wrong there, as 1Password will handoff to the Dropbox app if it is present. So removing the Dropbox app temporarily will allow 1Password to authenticate with Dropbox on its own.

It's also unfortunately not uncommon for device transfers (or restores from iCloud and iTunes backups) to result in some similar issues when apps and their data are not transferred completely, so be sure to use 1Password's backup/restore feature if you're not using a 1Password.com account to make sure that all of your local vaults are backed up safely. Cheers! :)
