Can't create items w/o "Edit items" permission

We have a vault with sensitive entries, that should almost never be edited. To avoid accidental deletion or editing, I'd like to just disable that permission.

If I adjust the permissions on the vault and uncheck "Edit items", unfortunately I'm unable to create new entries. This would seem like a bug, as "Create items" is still checked.

    Hi @johnclay,

    Are you seeing this behavior in a specific app, or in all of our apps? That sounds like something that should work as you've described. Can you tell me exactly where you're seeing this behavior?

    I'm using 1Password 6.8.4 on a Mac, and creating test items (tried different types) through the application. With Edit disabled, there's a quick flash of an empty item then it disappears.

    @johnclay : that sounds like a bug in our Mac app.

    I've just tested in our webapp and it works fine there. We'll try to get that fixed up.
