Backup questions

When I sync, it says only 16 items are being saved, but I have many more items I wish to backup. In All items, it shows 69. There are 3 vaults, but I am not sure why. I think I only need one, if they can be merged. There are 60 logins, and 7 secure notes. Can you clarify the backup process? Also, is it possible to backup to an external hard drive as an additional precaution?

    Thanks for taking the time to write in.

    Have you reviewed this guide on backups?

    1Password backups

    Manual backups will not include any vaults that are part of 1Password.com membership accounts, as 1Password.com has its own (automatic) backup process. Only standalone vaults are backed up.

    You could certainly save the backup file you create of any standalone vaults that you have using the above procedure to an external hard drive from a computer. :)
