Bug: Single Backslashes in Entries' Notes not shown

Good evening,

I have the latest version of 1Password for iOS (at least here in Germany's App Store.. 7.0.4) and I noticed that backslash-characters are not displayed correctly for content of an entry's notes (see screenshot - I added a path to a network/unc path and file to the note). It does display correctly when editing but outside of edit-mode they are gone (probably interpreted as escape characters or such).

Normal / non-Edit Mode:

Edit Mode:

Hope this gets fixed sometime...

Cheers & Happy New Year,
-J

@Jörg B.: Thanks for reaching out! This is actually an issue we're aware of, but one thing we don't know is where those backslash characters are coming from. The \ my keyboard makes does not cause this, so I literally had to copy and paste them from some text sent by another user to reproduce this issue. Let me know. Happy new year to you too! :)

    Evening @brenty!

The entire value was merely copied on a Windows (7) machine from the Windows Explorer path itself and pasted into the Notes field of your my.1password.com website.. so it wasn't entered manually into the notes field but placed there via the Windows Clipboard. The Windows system itself is set to US regional settings (albeit German time & number formats).

For reference, in your 1Password for Windows application (the new one) and also your my.1password.com website it looks perfectly fine, too:

@Jörg B.: Perfect! I'm seeing the same thing. Mystery solved! I had no idea that Windows file paths used a different backslash character, but it makes sense given all the other character encoding issues that crop up across platforms (subtitles, ugh...) I believe we have a fix for this now, and hopefully we'll be able to get it out in an update shortly. Thank you, as that was driving me crazy too! :)
