setting up vaults in family plan

I'm new to 1password, the organizer of my family plan. Is there one article that explains all the considerations and possibilities for setting up vaults (if you are the organizer vs the family member invited)?
Each invited family member gets 1 private vault that no one else can see? Or is it that no one else can see unless they're invited? And these family members can be invited to other vaults by the organizer?
I have 2 family members who want to share logins with each other. If they can't share this info just with each other, is there a way for them to share info with me, the organizer, only?

Welcome to the forum, @kate_lorenz -- and to 1Password! Glad to have you. :) In a 1Password Families account, you're correct: each family member gets a Personal vault that only they have access to. Even you as the owner cannot access this vault (though you can delete or suspend family members). Each member also gets access to the family-wide Shared vault. This is the other default vault in 1Password Families, because it's assumed that one of the reasons you have a family account instead of an individual one is that you have a subset of your data that you'd like to share - the Netflix password, the garage door code, etc. Those are great candidates for the Shared vault.

Beyond that, the number and configuration of vaults you create is really up to your own needs and imagination. If you've got two family members that aren't you, who wish to have a shared vault only between them (and you're OK with that), then just create it yourself. Call it whatever those other two people would like. When you create a vault, by default you are a full-access member of that vault at the beginning because you're the ONLY member of it. But when you manage your account in a browser by signing in at your 1Password Families URL (https: //name-you-chose.1password. com), you can click "Manage" on that vault and add those other two members, then remove yourself from the vault. You'll still be able to manage it (delete it or change the name, etc), but you'll no longer have access to the contents of the vault. Hope that helps, but if you'd like a little more detail on vault creation and sharing, we've got a great guide for that as well. Let us know if you have any questions!

@kate_lorenz You're quite welcome! Glad this was useful. The main URL for the support pages is a portal to all sorts of useful guides like that: https://support.1password.com -- chances are, if it's a common issue, there's a guide for how to do it or a page explaining it which can be found there. And of course, feel free to visit us here at the forum if you have questions you can't find the answers to on your own. We can also be reached via email at support@1password.com Have a great weekend!
