I have spent 2 hours trying to set up 1Password on a new Mac?

It is asking me to scan detail, how? On manual set-up what is the sign-in address? Where do I find a secret key?

Hi @canongeoff,

Only 1Password.com subscription membership accounts have a sign-in address and Secret Key. If you don’t have a subscription membership then to set up 1Password on a new device you’d need to manually configure syncing:

Sync your 1Password data

Alternatively you could migrate to a subscription membership account, where syncing is automatic and all you need to do is sign into your account to set up a new device:

Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account
