TouchID has disappeared from the home screen of the app and I can't open it any more
Hi,
I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 11.2.2 and the latest version of the 1Password app on it. I've been using the TouchID option for a long time and it seems to have disappeared over the past week. The app doesn't offer the possibility to use it, and the logo has disappeared as well. The only thing I'm able to do is to write in my master password which I have forgotten (because I've been using TouchID for so long). I've checked other threads on related issues, but in my case, TouchID is working for every other function of the iPhone. Would you have any idea about why the option has disappeared and if there's a way to fix it? Thanks a lot!

Hi @adeliepjz,
There are a number of reasons Touch ID can time-out or not be available. The only way to re-enable it will be to enter the correct Master Password. Even if you aren't certain of what that password is I'd recommend making some guesses, as that will be the only way to access your data. You aren't limited in the number of attempts you can make.
I'd suggest checking out this guide:

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Thank you! I was able to open it again, and now that I've done it once with the master key, the TouchID option is available again. I guess they ask for it once in a while.
Thanks a lot f r your help!
