App Autofilling on iOS
I'm a bit confused. On certain apps that require login, I see a key icon above the keyboard (on iOS 11.2.2). When I click on it I'm taken to a list of saved logins. Is this the Safari Autofill or is it iCloud Keychain? What I am finding is that I have very few apps that I can actually use 1Password to do the filling for me. Can I get either or both of the aforementioned to work alongside 1Password? I use multiple devices including Android and iOS devices as well as Windows.

Hi @diehardbattery,
It is certainly possible to use both iCloud Keychain alongside 1Password... the difficulty you’ll have with that is you’ll have two separate repositories to store passwords in, and they could very easily not be in sync (as you’ll manually need to keep them updated with each other).

Ideally every app would have support for password managers, but it is something that app developers have to add to their apps. We are happy to provide the code to them to do so, and help them do it, but they need to actually add it to their app. iOS doesn’t have any system-wide 3rd party password manager support.

How do I get iCloud Keychain and 1Pasword to work alongside each other? I attempted to follow the directions you have but I do not see an option to sync my vault with iCloud anywhere?

Right; they aren’t going to sync with each other. You can use both of them but they don’t work “together,” they work alongside each other (separately).

My apologies but I’m not sure what you’re asking. There really isn’t anything to accomplish. You can use both 1Password and iCloud Keychain but they are entirely separate and do not share data with each other.
If that doesn’t answer your question could you please elaborate about what exactly it is that you’re looking for help doing?

I would want to copy what's in my 1password vault to iCloud Keychain, then I could maintain the iCloud Keychain manually

Apple doesn't really provide a UI for managing iCloud keychain. You'd have to sort of go step by step and save passwords for websites, etc. It's something I've avoided not only for the tedium, but also because it's easy for me to lose track of what I have stored where. Just something to consider.
