iPhone 8 plus, purchased about a month ago. ios 11.2.2, using dropbox for syncing. I've tried force syncing inside the app and it says it's synced. When I go into the Dropbox app on my iPhone and try to load the 1Password date, I get an error: problem loading 1password data file: A key data file could not be located ...

    This is very laborious process! I've been working on it for about an hour. I'm stuck on the step in which I force-sync my Dropbox app on my iphone. See my original post regarding the error: "a key data file cannot be located."

    Am I understanding correctly: if I don't remember my 4-digit code I cannot sync to my iphone anymore? I know my master password.

    If you're using 1Password v7.0.4 on both devices then that would be unrelated. Could you please verify that is indeed the version both have?

    My 1password is v. 7.0.5 (on ios) and 6.8.6 (that's the latest, right?) on my mac desktop (yosemite 10.10.5). The password were changed on the desktop, and another desktop I used picked up the changes. But my iphone is not updating.
