Problem syncing iOS app through WLAN with a MAC

I would like to sync my IOS app account with my MAC account by WLAN but if I try to sync by WLAN in the app nothing appears, only a message asking me to update the list, no WLAN appears to enter the code. Any clue about this issue ? I thank you very much if you can help. Of course I use the same wifi for both the Iphone and the MAC.

    Thanks a lot Ben, it was indeed due to the firewall of my mac. I added the new application 6. Thanks again.
