1Password won't upgrade on my two iMacs, roughly since High Sierra or maybe before.

  1. I click Check for Updates.
  2. I get the Software Update dialog.
  3. I click Download Update
  4. The update downloads.
  5. I click Update and Relaunch.
  6. At first the dialog says "Extracting archive..." then it repeats step 4, re-downloading the update. Infinite loop.

@dgillman: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the trouble! It sounds like something may be damaged there — either the 1Password app on your Mac, or the macOS Archive Utility which should be extracting the new version. Please try the following:

    1. Drag any copies of 1Password to the Trash — DO NOT use a "cleaner" app!
    2. Restart your Mac
    3. Install a fresh copy from our website: https://1password.com/downloads/

Let me know how it turns out! :)
