Cannot log into one of the accounts saved in 1Password but can log into all others
Cannot log into https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth0?lang_code=en using Chrome on Mac. But I can log into all other 1Password saved logins. 1Password Version: 6; Mac OS Sierra; Until I cleared my cache this morning, I was able to log into https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth0?lang_code=en on this computer. Although I can log into this site on an older Mac, I cannot log into https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth0?lang_code=en on this Mac. Being able to log into this site is critical because this is how we run our accommodation business. Thank you, Barbara

Welcome to the forum, @Abundantwater! Sorry for the trouble logging in there, but when I visit that link, I get a misconfigured Apache Tomcat error. That's not something we can fix; it's a misconfigured server. I'm not quite sure how you got that specific link, but if you remove the last part:
login/auth0?lang_code=en
from the URL, and just use https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/ it seems to at least give me a login page that allows 1Password to fill. Of course, I don't have an account there, so I can't say much beyond that, but 1Password DID fill the login there (and received the "bad login info" you'd expect from using fake data as I did). Try that shorter link I gave, and see if that works for you. Remember, you can still copy/paste your login credentials for that site out of 1Password and into the login form if you need to. Let us know if my suggested link works for you, however!0 -
Thank you, Lars. I was aware of the login conflict but didn't know how to fix it. And unfortunately removing the "last part" did not fix the problem. After using 1Password to fill the fields, the login looked like it would open the page but instead reverted back to the blank fields. Before contacting the forum, I tried copying the login details into the blank fields but the page would not open. As I mentioned, I am using Chrome but if I use Firefox, I can log in easily. I took a screenshot of 1Password still showing some "conflict" with this page. This "conflict" appeared after I cleared my cache 2 days ago. Do you have any other suggestions to fix my issue? Removed image to help ensure privacy is maintained.

@Abundantwater -- If you're able to fill correctly using Firefox, that means 1Password IS able to fill those fields. It sounds like something may be happening with the interaction between that specific login page, Chrome, and whatever other extensions you may have enabled in Chrome that you don't have in Firefox. Can I ask whether it works in Safari?

@Lars -- Thanks for your reply. Yes, 1Password is able to fill those fields in Safari. However, Little Hotelier has an "old" and a "new" login and it is the "old" login which pops up when I go to fill the LH form so I have to manually select the "New" to override this. Not a big deal but before emptying the cache in Chrome, the LH login went smoothly. Any other suggestions?

@Abundantwater - I'd try saving a new login item manually for Little Hotelier - sometimes, websites can change how their login page functions, and it can "break" older saved login items in 1Password. See if saving a fresh copy helps.
However, if there is more than one login for a given site, you should be offered a choice of items to fill. 1Password shouldn't choose one for you, unless it is an exact match and the related ones are not. Have you turned off Chrome's own internal password manager? You can check this by visiting Chrome's Settings > Advanced > Passwords and Forms. Make sure auto-sign in is turned off.

@Lars -- Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, none of your suggestions has resulted in my being able to open Little Hotelier with 1Password in Chrome. :(

@Abundantwater - sorry for the continued trouble! Can you describe for me how you're going about trying to sign in to Little Hotelier, specifically? Are you double-clicking items from within the main 1Password window? Are you using the keyboard shortcut
Cmd+\
? Are you opening Little Hotelier's site manually and then clicking on the 1Password browser extension in Chrome or the 1Password mini in your Mac's menubar?0 -
@Lars -- Thanks for your reply. 1. Open new tab; 2. Type https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/ into Chrome search; 3. Enter my master password into 1Password; 4. Select "Little Hotelier new" from 1Password drop down in Mac menubar or open the 1Password app and double-click "Little Hotelier new;" 5. LH then looks like it is opening but the log-in window returns to blank and the URL changes to https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth?lang_code=en. So, yes, I've tried all of your suggested options for opening LH in 1Password except the keyboard shortcut which doesn't seem to work for me.

@Abundantwater -- sorry for the continued trouble. :( It's working fine for me here, on macOS 10.13.3 and 1Password for Mac 6.8.6 with extension version 4.6.12.90. Can you try this for me?
- For one of the logins you created for LH, click edit and change the
Website
field tohttps://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth
. - Keep your same username and password (obviously).
- Click Save to save your changes
- In 1Password's left sidebar, double-click the item you just edited to launch it in Chrome (this won't work if Chrome is not your default browser, however)
Let me know if that works for you!

Greetings @Abundantwater,
I hope you don't mind but I removed the image you kindly supplied earlier as these are public support forums and I didn't want anything even slightly personal showing if it could be helped.
So like Lars my testing, as much as I can, all seem to indicate we should work so I have a couple of requests.
- Can you confirm that if you directly visit https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth that this is the page you're having trouble with. You previously mentioned an old and new so I want to make sure we're both working on the same page.
- Having visited https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth can you manually create a new Login item using the steps outlined on our page How to save a Login manually in your browser. This is so we can compare later.
- Switch to 1Password and locate the new item. Enter edit mode and you will see a couple of new options become visible. One will be titled submit and the default value is Submit when enabled, please alter it to Never submit.
- Reload https://littlehotelier-apac.sec-login.com/login/auth and attempt to fill the page with this new item.
For me both fields fill and remain filled. If I submit with my test Login item I see the
Invalid email or password. Try again.
text that you can see in the image below. That screenshot will also help to validate that I'm seeing and testing the same page you're having trouble with. I'm also attaching a screenshot of what the manually saved Login item looks like for me. Now I can freely display that screenshot because the details are completely fictitious, I can even safely tell you what the stored password is as it's my favourite test password. You can confidently assume I don't use the wordpeekaboo
anywhere, not even for real test accounts I sometimes create, after all that's what 1Password is there to help me with :smile:I would like to learn what you can reproduce and what you can confirm as well as if you can indicate how things diverge if you see something different.
It's odd because I wouldn't expect clearing the cache to have any impact. I routinely clear my browsers' cache so I have a clean starting point for any filling queries. It's also interesting that everything is working in Firefox and Safari suggesting the issue does indeed lie with Chrome but at the moment I don't have a good explanation as to why.

@littlebobbytables Thank you for your information. I have abandoned using Chrome in favour of using Firefox.
Thanks anyway0 -
No worries. The new Firefox still has some rough edges, but I'm really enjoying it too. Cheers! :)
