Welcome to the forum, @Patty_2866! You didn't mention when you purchased from Apple, but if it was more than a year or two ago, then what you purchased was a standalone license to use 1Password for Mac, since 1password.com accounts didn't exist prior to around February of 2016. That would also be why you don't have a Secret Key; because those are only used by 1password.com accounts.

If you have data in 1Password on your Mac using a copy you purchased from the Mac App Store and you want to switch to a 1password.com account instead, you can sign up for an account at the main 1Password Families sign-up page and then migrate your data from your existing local vaults to the new 1password.com vaults.

However, if you've already signed up for a 1password.com account and you cannot locate your Secret Key, then you will not be able to access your account -- let us know if that's the case.
