Setting up for the first time

Completely new member so signing up within the Mac app. I enter my email address, get the code and enter it... then I'm stuck on a spinner. I got the email that the subscription with Apple went through... but can't get past this spinner.

    Welcome to the forum, @amesa311! I see you've also written this same question to us via email. Since you're new, can I ask a favor you may not have realized? When writing to us for support, it is not necessary to contact us via multiple communication channels about the same issue. Doing so can cause a duplication of efforts on our part which slows down the support process for everyone.
