fingerprint scanner option disappeared

I was logged into a website via the 1password app on my ipad. The website froze so I exited out of 1password but when I tried to go back in, unlocking via the fingerprint option disappeared. The only way I am able to unlock is by using the master password, which the app is also not accepting. How do I get back into the app? DO I have to wipe all my data and start all over? I have over 58 passwords stored. That would be a huge inconvenience.

    Have you tried restarting the ipad? The master password should always be accepted. Glitches can occur, though. Even if you remember your master password correctly (and people do forget) it is possible that the freeze made the keyboard misbehave in some way.
