Idea for a less agro way of curtailing spam postings
I want to post two items today. I posted one. Then when I went to post the second item, I was confronted with this...
I was logged in as a bona fide user so why the hostility? Gosh, I was just trying to get answer to a question about your product.
Here's a kinder way to enforce your 120-second rule. Disable the Post Question button for 120 seconds after a user posts and add some text that explains why it's disabled.

@srohde Thanks for the suggestion!
It's generally atypical behavior for users to post multiple questions in that short a time period. People tend to either ask all their questions in a single post, or it simply takes them enough time to create multiple question/posts that they don't trigger that rule. We're using Vanilla forums as the engine for this forum, and although it's fairly configurable (like, we can choose whether to have such a rule, and we can set the time for it), disabling the submit button isn't an option. Sorry it was off-putting. :)
