Chrome extension (MacBook) not working. Not filling fields and shows an alert ("view mode only")

I have a new MacBook Pro and when installed Chrome it launched 1Password extension automatically. However, it didn't work. At first, my information did not appear. And after I restarted the browser the extension just show me my password, but not fill the information in the fields as always.

    Welcome to the forum, @HuGonzalez! I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty; that's certainly not expected behavior. I'd like you to remove the 1Password extension from Chrome, restart Chrome, then visit our extensions page to download a new copy of the 1Password extension.

    It's also possible that Chrome was doing an auto-update in the background; when this happens, Chrome invalidates its own code signature (new version signature does not match old), so a restart of Chrome is required. Let us know how you get on! :)
