Standalone Password Generator

All I want is to generate a password in the 1Password iPhone app and copy it so I can paste it into another app. I figured out how to generate a new password in the 1Password app (hit the + icon and select Logins or Passwords). What I don't seem to be able to is then copy that password.

    Hi @noirdesir,

    Once you’ve saved the login / password item in question tapping on the password field will give you the option to reveal, copy, or large type. :)

    Thanks. I understand that this behaviour enforces the good 'habit' of saving the login/password before using it somewhere else, but it is nevertheless frustrating when you see the password and no amount of tapping on it will let you select and copy it. I guess an alternative behaviour [with the same outcome] would be to autosave if a password got copied.
