Release Integrity For 1Password Downloads
Is there anyway that some sort of release integrity, in the form of SHA256 hashes can be provided for 1Password releases (ideally in an off-site location, i.e. a Github repo or through Keybase)?
Given the data that I feed into 1Password, I would love to be able to verify the integrity of my download rather than just install it blindly.
In the mean time, can the SHA256 hash be provided for the most recent Mac release?
1Password Version: 6.8.8
Extension Version: N/A
OS Version: OS X 10.13.3
Sync Type: Not Provided

Hi @danr,
You can get the MD5 hash for any download by adding “.md5” to the end of the download URL. For 1Password for Mac v6.8.8 for example the MD5 can be had here:
https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/mac4/1Password-6.8.8.pkg.md5
The updater also verifies this before it will install an update.
I hope that helps!
Ben
