Will a new subscription extend or override the trial period?

I've just on board to the subscription from license with a six-month trial period (starting from today). If I choose to pay for the annual subscription right now, will the new membership be added to the trial period (i.e. I'll get a 18-month membership after payment) or will it override the current trial (i.e. I'll get a 12-month membership only)? If it is the latter, I would hold on my money until the expiration of the trial period.

    Regardless of when you set up your subscription your payment will be collected at the end of your trial. :)
