If you implemented the 128 bit secret thingummie for local vaults too?

    Thanks for writing in.

    If you are referring to Secret Key, that's only available for 1Password.com service because of the fact that we're hosting your data onto our service and the Secret Key strengthen the secure connection between you and us.

    There is no need to have this for standalone vault because it is not stored elsewhere but only on your local drives (no middleman).

    If you're using Dropbox (middleman in this case), you can enable their 2FA security in your Dropbox account's security settings. So, you'd need your Dropbox.com account, their 2FA security and your computer's account details in addition to the already strong 256-bit AES+PBKDF2(100K+)+HMAC encryption in OPVault.
