Most markdown implementations use a very simple table format

| label1 | label2 |
| :-- | --: |
| one | two |
| three | four |

Would you add this feature to your markdown?

Boy ... That would be nice .. I tried doing this as pre-formatted text but some of the fields just wouldn't line up (Tried Tabs and Spaces between fields)

  • Hey @jorgemm! Thanks for the feedback. We'll keep it in mind for Markdown improvements. :)

I'd love this feature as well since tab characters aren't supported in markdown.

  • Good point. :) Something we may be able to implement in the future.

Please, please, please implement this, I'd love you guys even more!

  • Thanks SantiCF.

As rudy mentioned, you'll see it in the release notes. Note, table support can be tricky, so if we are able to do it, it would take a while.

    Cheers,
    Kevin

Web UI doesn't have markdown preview as well
I guess having markdown support like GitHub comments will be nice

This is certainly something we can consider in the future @harsh5, thank you for taking the time to share this suggestion with us :) I have passed your feedback to the developers in the meantime.
