Question about 2FA and 1P

Correct. Once a device is authorized you won’t be asked for a TOTP code again on that device unless / until that authorization is cleared.
And when is that authorization cleared?
Say I have 2 FA. Say I set up my password. Say I lost my 2FA. I know, it's extremely unlikely.
Will I be stuck in limbo where I can never add another devices ever (but can still access my password). Or is there a way out of this limbo?

@aegos: When you clear it, or reset the device/browser.

Not as unlikely as you think.

You'd need to have all of your account credentials — Master Password, Secret Key, and two-factor code — to sign into a new device, so make sure you have a plan in place for emergencies. We can't give any of those to you because we never have them.
