unable to open app after changing my UID on OSX 10.13.3

I'm using 1Password on my Mac at work and needed to change the UID associated with my account. I also updated the UID for the files, and most everything is working. Except when I try to start 1Password (installed in ~/Applications) I get "You can't open the application 1Password6.app because it may be damaged or incomplete.

The permissions are set to "drwxr-xr-x"

Any suggestions? I'm hesitant about deleting and re-installing because I'm not sure what would happen to the vault.

    This seems to have resolved itself; not sure why, but the app starts now and the browser helper is acting normal again.
