I get an "Update Available" notice, then immediately get a message that I'm up to date.

That's about it. When I launch the app, I get a notice that an update is available. When I click Update, a message immediately pops up stating I'm up to date.

    @Tipperon: Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry for the confusion! Do you perhaps have betas enabled in Preferences > Updates? We had a glitch that was offering version 7 updates there last week. Let me know!

    Hi @brenty, Yes, I did have betas enabled. I unchecked the betas option and will see what happens next time. Thanks.
