Url not working as expected

I am trialing 1Password 6. Running on a Mac Book Pro, High Sierra 10.13.4 and using Safari 11.1 with 1 Password 4.7.1 extension installed
I have set up a login to a site i use with username and password. However, if I close Safari, reopen, and then from the Safari icon select the site url, nothing happens. The site does not load, or log me in

Any ideas please of what is wrong?
